Mercy Mercy Johnson has dinied the report that the husband is on his way to becoming the deputy governor of Edo state.
However, speaking via Twitter, the actress denied this report.
Earlier. report has it that the Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in the forthcoming Edo state governorship election, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu in the evening of Monday, June 20, 2016 picked Prince Odi Okojie, Mercy Johnson’s husband as his running mate.
Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu who defeated two other aspirants during PDP primary election held in Benin City on Monday will face All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate, Mr. Godwin Obaseki on September 10 gubernatorial election.
Johnson and her husband have been campaigning and empowering the people of Edo for a while now in anticipation of this day.
The Nollywood actress got married to Okojie on August 27, 2011 and the couple has three lovely children.
